IBIS celebrates its 10th Birthday ! This month, May 2009, we are celebrating 10 years since our IBIS business started in 1999. During this time we have established ourselves as the leading supplier of high-end digital-print finishing machinery. Here are some milestones during this first decade of our company history:
On May 12, 1999, the IBIS business was formed by a group of managers and engineers (many ex-Heidelberg) to design, manufacture and supply in-line saddle-finishing machines for the fast-growing digital web print market. Our first product,
the Digi-Stitcher DST2, At Drupa 2004 we launched
the new Smart-binder Early in 2008
we moved into our current new In November 2008 we shipped our 100th machine, and at this time (May 2009) we have just manufactured our 120th machine. During the last 10 years we have trebled the size of our IBIS team. We are focussing over 50% of our resources on new product development in order to create innovative new solutions for the future. We continue to work closely
with our digital print-engine As a result of your continued
support, we have been able to develop and grow over the last 10 years.
Our goal is to assist your business to become ever more profitable and
we look forward to working alongside you in developing the next generation
