COECO Slovenia order their second IBIS Smart-binder system

COECO are so delighted with the performance of their first IBIS Smart-binder system, (installed summer 2021), that they have recently ordered a second identical IBIS system.
COECO uses the IBIS Smart-binder to produce A5 instruction manuals at high web speeds using lightweight recycled 48 gsm paper stock. The Smart-binder is fed from a Hunkeler unwinder and CS6 web cutter via an MB buckle-folder to help handle the lightweight paper at 120-150 m/min web speed.

Printing is done using both a Screen TruePress Jet 520HD and Ricoh IP5000 continuous feed IJ presses. The IBIS Smart-binder delivers 'User Manuals' for Gorenje home appliances and BSH (Bosch) and Hisense TVs. COECO is confident that its excellent products and services mean it can now take on new challenges and additional customers, attracted by COECO's innovative technologies, quality, responsiveness and flexibility.

The speed and flexibility of the IBIS Smart-binder system enables COECO to produce around 78,000 A5 product manuals each week, all containing a different number of pages, different orders, different product codes, and different types of papers. These instruction manuals are made from the different paper stocks:
- Recycled paper 45 gsm: 8 - 164 page manuals
- Woodfree paper 60 gsm: 8 - 120 page manuals
- Woodfree paper 80 gsm: 8 -60 page manuals

The second IBIS Smart-binder is being installed in May 2022 and will help COECO to better meet their growing customer needs and expand their print business.
