1. Automatic or manual feed: The PB-1200R may be fed automatically from a high speed digital CF printer or from the IBIS Smart-binder (saddle-binder). Alternatively book blocks may be fed manually into the binder clamps or the hand feed station.
   
   
2. Heavy duty and reliable: Suitable for high speed and long job runs (24 x 7 operation)
   
   
3. Speed: Up to 1,200 perfect bound books/hour.
   
   
4. Fully automated size change-overs: Both thickness and format size changes are fully automatic. Thickness changes are made within seconds.
   
   
5. Book quality: The PB-1200R binder includes side-gluing and multiple cover-scoring for optimum finished book quality. Books are lowered from the binder clamp in a controlled manner to avoid damage.
   
   
6. PUR or EVA: EVA hot melt gluing supplied standard (PUR glue applicator is optional).
   
   
7. Book tracking and Cover matching: An optional bar code detection system for book block and cover is available to ensure correct cover matching and to record books produced in a database.
   
   
8. Options include end-sheet feeder, back-lining applicator and in-line 3-side book trimming.
