Instead of showing a complete running IBIS Smart-binder machine at the HID show this year we exhibited part of the machine in our IBIS 'Info' booth. We also gave out a large quantity of sample glue and stitched booklets and showed the Smart-binder in operation on a large video screen, together with a customer case-study (R & V insurance in Wiesbaden).
We were extremely busy during the exhibition and met many
existing and new end-user customers and sales agents.
If I was unavailable when you visited our booth then please
accept my apologies. Since the show we have attempted
to contact all our booth visitors but if you have not
heard from us yet and would like to continue to discuss
your requirements, please let me know and I will be in
touch asap.
We were particularly pleased by the interest shown in
our patented unique ISG cold glue binding system (a higher
quality and easier-to-use alternative to wire stapling)
and we handed out examples of IBIS brochures which had
been made using this binding method.
There was also considerable interest in the new SDA (Smart-Data Analysis) system demonstration which presents Smart-binder production data with links to other workflow management systems. Overall we were delighted to be able to present our Smart-binder system which produces high integrity, high quality booklet output with ease of use/maintenance and minimal downtime.
We have received more new Smart-binder orders than expected
recently, so if you require a new IBIS Smart-binder we
will need your order very quickly! We are taking steps
now to increase our manufacturing output which will get
us back to shorter lead times from next year onwards.
If you were one of the many guests who came to see us
on the IBIS booth then many thanks for your visit. We
look forward to seeing you at the next international trade
exhibition, if not before.
