New IBIS transfer unit for CP Bourg BB3002 Perfect Binder We have recently supplied
These in-line perfect binders come in two different versions: 1/ The Smart-binder PB-600C system is designed to be fed from a stream of sheets directly from the printer. Optional in-line folding can reduce the sheet format size to the required finished book size, if needed. The sheets then enter our SCF-100 (sheet collector and feeder) where they are collected on top of each other to form loose book blocks. These book blocks are then rotated to the vertical and pushed automatically into the clamp of the single-clamp CP Bourg BB3002 binder. PB-600S system is designed to be fed from loose Both systems use the CP Bourg BB3002 binder, which has also been an integral part of our Smart-binder SB-4 solution during the last 4 years.
Both the Smart-binder PB-600C and PB-600S systems produce high quality, perfect bound books, up to 60mm thick at speeds up to 360 books/hour in-line with a digital printer or stacker. An optional in-line book trimmer is available after binding for both systems. These new products enable us to offer either dedicated saddle-binding, dedicated perfect binding or combined saddle and perfect binding... all in-line with a digital printer, or off-line from a pile feeder.
