Smart Label‑binder introduction leaflet
IBIS will exhibit its latest model Smart Label-binder (SLB) at Labelexpo in Barcelona, 16-19th September 2025 in order to show production of Extended Content Label (ECL) booklets.
The SLB will be fed from piles of 45gsm printed sheets using a high-pile, high speed sheet feeder.
The sheets will be side-registered, plow-folded and a line of PVA cold-glue dots applied to the inside of the fold. These glued sheets will be collected together into glue-bound sets which will then be 3-side trimmed. The resulting booklets will comprise perfectly-formed pharma ECLs, ready for laser tabbing and further processing.
