In addition to regular inspection and lubrication IBIS recommends that certain parts of the Smart-binder are checked and replaced annually. PM parts are recommended to be held at the customer site in addition to the recommended spare parts kits. PM parts kits may be purchased in advance and shipped together with the Smart-binder: If a part is taken from a PM kit because of an emergency (unplanned) need then this missing part should be replaced asap. See table below:
The optional IBIS customer support package CSP-90, offered with new Smart-binder sales, includes all Smart-binder PM parts for the first 3-years of operation. Notes:
